Forever in Our Hearts

Sharie Kate Davis
May 31, 1953 – March 2, 2026

Sharie Kate Davis was born in Sweet Home, Oregon, the daughter of Charles and Lois Kleinhans. She
was raised in Medford, Oregon. After graduating from high school, Sharie moved to Eugene, Oregon,
where she met her first husband, Michael Johnson. Together they welcomed two adoring sons, Shawn
and Chad Johnson.

Sharie spent much of her working life in the retail grocery community in Southern Oregon, where she
was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. It was through this community that she met her
husband of the past 20 years, Howard Davis. Together they built a family of friends, hosted monthly
yoga social gatherings for the past 13 years and opened their home
and hearts to many, including two labradoodles, Candy and Charlie.

She was an active member, teacher and licensed Spiritual Practitioner with the Center for Spiritual
Living and served on the Board of Directors of the Center for Spiritual Living in Fallbrook,
California. Sharie also proudly served her community as a city council member for the City of Rogue
River, Oregon.

Sharie and companion Berne doodle, Ollie, were members of the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Together
they visited local hospitals and memory care facilities, bringing comfort and joy to many people.
Ollie also joined Howard and Sharie on visits to wineries near and far, where he was often seen
playfully prancing in and out with his yoga mat between his teeth, delighting everyone and sparking
conversations and new friendships.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Kleinhans, and her first husband, Michael “Mike”
Johnson and doodles, Candy and Charlie.

Sharie is survived by her mother, Lois Kleinhans; her sons, Shawn Johnson and Chad Johnson; her
three grandchildren, Ada, Kamdyn, and Koda Johnson; and her beloved husband, Howard Davis.
