The Water Division operates the City’s water utility. It performs the repair and preventive maintenance for the water system such as mains, fire hydrants, water meters, pumps, and valves. It continually monitors the water system, provides radio communications for field personnel, and provides information on waterline locations to the general public.

The City of Rogue River provides excellent drinking water and sanitary sewer services to each property within city limits. At a single family residence, monthly minimum service costs for a new customer in 2025 are $70.40

  • Water $23.35
  • Sewer $42.05
  • Public Safety Fee $5.00 (increasing to $10.00 in July)

This is based on usage up to 500 cf of water, and a flat fee for sewer services until consumption averages are established after a winter of residency.

To establish an account, citizens are required to pay a deposit of $176.85 (by cash, check, or money order) and provide the following information: Full name(s), mailing address, a valid driver’s license, last four digits of their social security number, date of birth, email address, the number of occupants in the home, and the date of residency in the home.

Billing is done in the arrears. A paper bill will be mailed to the address on record the beginning of each month for consumption measured from the previous month. Payment is due to the city within two weeks. A delinquent account is subject to disconnection, at which time unpaid charges and a reconnection fee may be assessed. Payments may be delivered via USPS or brought to City Hall and made by cash, check, or money order. Or you can pay online here.
